As a HealthNorth, Inc. caregiver you will receive your Appreciation Package. HealthNorth, Inc. has designed benefit programs to assist employees in meeting their need for security, both for themselves and for their families.

Compensation

Each employee will be hired at a wage rate that is considered to be commensurate with his/her experience, education, and level of responsibility.

Holiday Pay: The Holiday pay hours will be calculated as follows: Full-time employees working on a holiday will receive regular pay for hours worked in addition to the paid holiday. Part-time employees working on a holiday will receive Holiday Pay which will be 2 (two) times the employees hourly wage rate for each hour of the shift that is covered.

Paid Holidays: HealthNorth recognizes the following days as holidays: New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.

Short Notice Staffing: Short notice staffing is defined as staffing that is provided by an employee with less than 4 hours of notice of the shift to be covered. Short notice compensation will be 1.5 (one and one half) times the employees hourly wage rate for each hour of the shift that is covered.

Insurance

Workers Compensation Insurance: Under this plan employees may receive compensation for lost time and for physician or hospital costs related to injuries which occur on the job.
